Dr. Scott B. Stewart and our dedicated team warmly welcome you to our Duncan, BC, practice. We’ve proudly served the Cowichan Valley with dedicated dental care since 2000.
Educational Background
Dr Stewart began practising dentistry in 1996 after completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Honours Physiology from the same institution in 1991. Dr. Stewart was recognized with awards in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry during his dental training, highlighting his comprehensive expertise.
Advanced Training and Professional Contributions
In March 1996, Dr. Stewart completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Externship at the University of Southern California Los Angeles Medical Center. His professional involvement includes significant contributions to the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC), where he served on the Practice Standards Committee, Professional Conduct Committee, and as Chair of the Inquiry Committee from 2003 to 2015.
Distinguished Service Awards
Dr. Stewart was recognized for his commitment to excellence with the College of Dental Surgeons Award of Merit in 2013 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2015. These honours highlight his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of dental care.
